the run is a fair reward for the grind. once i felt a bit unsatisfied about botching the ending on the 2:05 and slowly being stripped form all the five points, i started considering going for a second or two lower. At first it felt like a joke, then kinda resigned after duping 2:05 only two times in as many as 20-30 hrs of grind. The level is very demanding and the luck factor quite underestimated. I would not know for what cause i got the luck after basically resigning from the level. Special thanks to Mop, Eric, Kreidos, DynamixDJ and of course MR
A word on the run itself
The start smooth if not a kind of flawless with a robotic touch right before the slowish gate. Stuck on the closing gate. Arm shot the guard. Decent first alarm, one boost and then the pad locked gate saved in a last ditch effort.
Good strafing and a quick second alarm. Down the corridors, smooth flight, two good boosts and the biggest blunder of the run - an attempt to injure the second left guard - but luckily it did not kill the run. Good reaction times and finally killed the walking towards the mainframe dude and made the best single return on all my Dam 00 runs - one in 1500 runs and managing the annoying box guard, shot with a masterful spray from the KF7 on the very good way back. was so crazed that i shot away some bullets, so needed to use the pistol for the last alarm.
part of the late 2020 Dam 00 hype. i was watching Truer Faith's 7+ hour grind to tie MR's 1:54 while playing it. very surprised to skip both 2:04 and 2:03. about 5 second's behind MR's PAL 1:57 version WR on this stage, so yea. good bye 2020 !
