Decent run until the gnarly door stucks. And then a 1:29.93 roundup ffs. Longer vid because I was distracted by the calls convo the entire time. Happy to reach my goal though!

5 second pb! But every part of this run had timeloss. Will make sure to get at least 1:30 but might spend a bit more time here for "fun". Glad to cash in something for now though in case all fails.

Meh run with comically terrible ending to land on a magnificent 1 second pb, (honestly a robbery on the simple double break but I'll study with x ray some more again later). The goal of 1:30 seems doable with current way of playing which is good.

Goal time reached, finally. 1:05 on the table but a lot of rng on this level. I can at least take this experience onto some SA/PA.

Wasn't gonna play today but the Amiral Runway SA 22 sparked some motivation in me.

WORLD RECORD !!!

(My first one, hopefully there will be more).

To be honest, I never thought I would be able to set a world record in speedrunning, especially on one of the most famous games in the history of first-person shooters, and one of my favorite games from my childhood.

It took me about a hundred hours to achieve this WR.

I had to listen to dozens and dozens of hours of a 129 bpm metronome every few minutes to time my grenades on the ground. I can't take it anymore, I feel like Captain Hook LMAO (https://youtu.be/xkyb-1BkUcM?si=8ALKe95iKUSuyjE_&t=66). All that to finally achieve this WR without using it lol.

I got 22 seconds seven times, missing objective B (destroying the missile battery), including twice in the last hour of my attempts, coincidentally after turning off the metronome lol. I had a good feeling, I knew I was close to getting it, and sure enough, I did !

My first failed 22 was in December 2025, but then I took a break for a few weeks, between the holidays and discovering the lock warp at the end of the Train level, which I contributed to in order to better understand it, but also so that I could try to achieve as much as possible during my attempts.

My actual career time when I achieved the 22 was 16 days and 16 hours and 33 minutes (the time displayed on the layout is not correct, it was the time of the current session).

1st and 100 points when I set this time.

Like 3rd attempt of the sesh, my coffee did not even have time to cool and slightly mistimed the ending from the chock. New last break strat again for those who have not seen it yet.
