Top 100. As I get older, it gets harder for me to look back on my life up to this point. I used to have a spectacular memory, but I think I'm out of practice because I mostly try to avoid thinking about my past--I can only see it as time I either wasted, or at best didn't use anywhere near optimally.
Wiser people than me would probably point out how life isn't perfect, it's better to have loved and lost, we gain from the experience, we need to make mistakes to learn, or any number of reasons to pat me on the shoulder and say I'm doing okay. Rationally it all makes sense, but I don't think I'll ever fully accept it.
Ironically, maybe the one thing I've ever really committed to that all those people might NOT understand was worth it was getting this far in speedrunning. There's a good argument that it's a terrible time investment. Yet it's the one thing I've ever really cared about that I've never really spent very much energy regretting. I'm happy to be here. And I have no explanation for that. That's just what it is.
