About Rip Knickers

Played this game when it came out in ‘97 at a friend’s house and fell in love. This game was my introduction to the James Bond franchise, which I became obsessed with for years to follow. I found this website back in 2007 with intentions of getting a world record, inspired by the King of Kong documentary. I was the best at the game among my friends, but soon realized that I had a long way to go to hang with the legends on this website. I tried for a few months at a few different levels but soon gave up after progress stalled and I became discouraged. I eventually rediscovered the community in early 2020 when the 2.x any% RTA run with Goose and Bass Boost at AGDQ 2014 was recommended to me on YouTube. For the next few months I dove into all of the SpeedLore videos and educated myself about the history of the records and techniques to get them. I decided to join the ranks in late 2020 and started posting times in January 2021, following the path suggested by Fletchr’s Comprehensive Guide to GE Speedrunning. I’m here for the love of the game, the thrill of progression, the fellowship of a community, and the shot at best in the world. Cheers!
