I finally started playing on the NTSC-J console after receiving it the same day. I had tried two weeks earlier on another NTSC-J that I already owned, but it kept crashing after a minute...

I tried a few tests with an NTSC-J cartridge, then decided to follow Mamel's advice and switch to NTSC-U. So I took apart the back of a random PAL game cartridge (Kobe Bryant in NBA Courtside) to put it on my American cartridge so I could use it on my Japanese console.

I went out to eat for about 45 minutes, and when I came back, it took me three tries to get 22 (the first reset after the hut, the second ended in a 23 because of a late drone boost, and finally the third was a 22).

I had spent about twenty hours without ever succeeding and only getting 23 over and over again on the PAL version. It's so awesome to play on NTSC lol.

Too bad I didn't get the PAL TWR, but that's okay, I'll go back to it later in my career when I'm at a level where I can do it more easily.

4th place and 94 points when I set this time.
