on the cusp of moving to #306 (1 sec from #307 and 5 sec to tie/6 sec to beat #306), I had a ton of options to get a second here or a second there, but I wanted it to be an epic level -- so I decided on either Aztec 00 or Control 00... I finally decided to take on Control!!! :)
it took me less than 30 minutes of gameplay to drop 16 seconds from my previous Control 00 PB of 7:47 to get this new 7:31...
this dropped my total time to 2:22:38... this puts me solidly (ha-ha) at #306... with almost 2 minutes to chop until the next guy, I think this will almost certainly be as high as I ever get... I'll certainly fall in the future, but probably go no higher... at least not without doing some tricks like the Aztec glass strat or something, and I have my doubts about that...
I think it's time for another break from trying to "speedrun" and improving my times... I think I'll play some single-segment runs and play some leisurely levels for fun... I think I may try to see if I can improve each level at least once in 2021... but we'll see.... regardless, this was nice, and we're going out to dinner!!!
