of the 99 PBs I've entered today... this is the one I'm probably most happy about... I *worked* for this one... :)
- OMG!!! This was tough!!!
- I had only 2 PBs over a year old (Runway A and Streets A), but I've only got a couple of days before that blows up...
- I had played Runway A a few times since picking the game back up in February, both nothing too serious... I think I played for about an hour a month or so back and had 5 0:25 dupes...
- post-work Monday was rough -- I played for 5 hours and had 136 0:25 dupes!!! (7 of these were 3 boosts good, with another 3-boosts runs with a back boost...)
- I looked at the 0:24's on the rankings and found 6 nadeless runs...
- I started out post-work Tuesday trying about 20 minutes of using left strafe all the way to the key and THEN changing to right strafe, but that just didn't work for me, so I eventually gave up and went back to my way of doing it...
- in the next 80 minutes of play (totaling about 6:40 all toldl between Monday and Tuesday), I got another 33 0:25 dupes, including 2 3-boost runs...
- finally, nearing the end of yet another tape, I got this run... I got a boost from the exploding file cabinet inside the key building and then ALSO got 3 boosts on the runway... and this was enough to clinch the 0:24... and allow me to banish this level from all future IL play!!!!! :)
- so a total of roughly 169 + ~5 0:25 dupes before finally getting my final PB on Runway Agent!!!
